The Revista Coleta Científica has an editorial team, associate editors, a scientific editorial board, and ad hoc reviewers responsible for ensuring the scientific quality, academic integrity, internationalization, and transparency of the editorial process. The composition of the editorial team seeks to reflect institutional, geographical, and thematic diversity, in accordance with international best practices in scholarly publishing and the journal’s interdisciplinary scope.

Responsibilities of the Editorial Team Members

Members of the editorial team and the editorial board may contribute to the journal through the following activities:

a) supporting the definition and improvement of the journal’s editorial policy;

b) contributing to the internationalization of the journal;

c) recommending qualified reviewers;

d) serving as reviewers when their expertise is relevant to the subject matter;

e) promoting calls for article submissions;

f) contributing to the scientific quality of the published manuscripts;

g) safeguarding editorial ethics, academic integrity, and best practices in scholarly publishing;

h) supporting the assessment of topics related to their areas of expertise.

Membership of the editorial board does not imply the automatic acceptance of manuscripts, undue influence over the editorial process, or publication privileges. Manuscripts submitted by members of the editorial team must undergo the same review process applied to all other authors, with appropriate measures taken to prevent conflicts of interest.

The composition of the editorial team may be periodically updated, taking into consideration criteria such as alignment with the journal’s scope, academic output, institutional diversity, geographical diversity, active participation, and commitment to editorial best practices.
